SUBSCRIBE TO OUR MONTHLY UPDATES

Happy New Month,

As we journey through May, I pray the Lord multiplies your fruitfulness, influence, and eternal impact (John 15:8). May His will anchor your heart, His grace empowers you to overcome, and His peace keeps you steady in every situation (Psalm 34:10).

This update comes with heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering partnership—especially your tithe/special donation in April. Your gifts are not just contributions; they touch heaven and transform lives.

EMPOWERING FCS STAFF AS PREACHERS OF THE WORD

Thanks to your support, our recent training equipped 57 senior FCS staff from 25 states:

  • 38 were trained in Preaching from the New Testament
  • 10 were trained in Preaching from the Old Testament
  • 9 were trained in Foundations for Biblical Preaching

These field staff returned refreshed and retooled for effective student discipleship through God’s Word.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES (BOT) MEETING

The FCS Board of Trustees (BOT) under the chairmanship of Justice James Ogebe (JSC. Rtd.) met in Abuja from May 1st–3rd in one of the most well-attended meetings in recent history. It was a powerful moment of generational testimony. We were honoured to have Mr. Reuben Ariko, FCS’s first Indigenous Training Secretary in attendance, and to welcome our newly appointed BOT members, Mr. Y.Y. Balami and Prof. Teresa Nmadu.

STRENGTHENING FAMILIES. EQUIPPING COUPLES

From May 1st–4th, 9 couples attended the FCS annual couples’ retreat tagged “Enjoy your Marriage” facilitated by Rev Sam and Dr. Mrs. Rhoda Udanyi. The couples were equipped with biblical principles for marriage and positive parenting, strengthening this home for impactful ministry.

LOOKING AHEAD – MAY 2025

  1. FCS Mission Sunday – May 18 – this is an annual event during which staff and leaders across FCS formations visit churches to share the vision and to mobilise believers to join and partner with us in the labour among the students. Pray that churches nationwide will open their doors to our teams to share the FCS vision and raise support for the work.
  2. Week of Emphasis on Schools’ Work – May 19–24 – this is a week dedicated to intensive schools’ visitation and mobilization of prayer, workers and support for the ministry.
Ask the Lord to deepen student outreach and create new entry opportunities into more schools.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Workshop – May 29–June 1 – This workshop aims to sharpen the effectiveness of Area Secretaries and Directors in performing their supervisory roles. Pray for insight, strategy, and divine enablement for the resource persons and participants.
